It isn't so much that they are generally too hard, but more that they have some mechanics which are too unforgiving.For instance, having a boss which makes walls, then makes those walls explode which pretty much one shots you when you stand too close to them is ok. This mechanic isnt even close to the same difficulty for a barb Like how are you going to have a mechanic that physically traps a sorc in an trap area thats filling with tonnes of mobs in early game? Yes I can do it, but now its a matter of the game actively trying to ruin my experience and kill me because I walked slightly fuirther into an area I already cleared. I can wipe an entire room on my barb in a second but I cant do anything when I cant kite 70 mobsĮdit: alot of content seems like its designed for groups or ignoring certain class mechanics. I had to fight hordes of spiders all while a boss spider stops me from moving every 3-5 seconds on a Barb. which is great but I specifically play Diablo because it isnt wow and is generally solo-able even at end game.
The content is clearly designed for classes that arent what the class reward are for making it effectively group locked, but the only people who want to do it are that class.
